VBuilder3D Now Freeware

Posted on Tue, 30 Sep 2003 20:36:07 GMT
Developer Thierry Videlaine's VBuilder3D is modelling software that lets you quickly created 3D objects that can be exported to DirectX, .3ds and Microsoft Train Simulator formats. The .3ds files created by VBuilder3D can also be imported into Gmax and thus used with any sim or game that has a Gmax game pack. The standard version is now freeware, limited only on the number of shapes per object.  For more information, click on Read More  VBuilder3D, the 3D modelling product which I have developped and which enables the user to create 3D objects by a simple drag-and-drop juxtaposition of basic shapes, no longer has a demo version. The standard version is freeware, without any limitations in time, but users are limited to a maximum of 100 basic shapes per object. The "full" version needs buying a licence, and has no limitations of any kind.

As you will recall, VBuilder3D includes a specialized export module for Microsoft Train Simulator (static objects) and can create 3DS objects that can be re-exported to Trainz via Gmax.
