FTX Pacific Northwest region scenery add-on is a significant achievement for Orbx because it combines all the fundamentals of the renowned FTX AU region series, and it offers much more.
Orbx has made significant improvements and additions in FTX NA Blue - USA Canada Pacific Northwest. They improved the quality of the ground textures. These were sourced from pristine imagery to create brilliantly crisp terrain even at ground level.
This scenery add-on features more than 2.5 GB of fully seasonal and annotated photoreal for landmark mountain and wilderness areas above the tree line. Glaciers and lava flows are also featured. The scenery add-on also includes photoreal Seattle central business district, the ports of Tacoma and Olympia, KPAE and Bonneville Dam. Several areas of interest are also included.
For this scenery add-on, Orbx created new autogen textures which are hand-crafted every square mile of landclass. They also added moving traffic and 3D night lighting. In FTX NA Blue - USA Canada Pacific Northwest, more than 450 default airports in the region have been upgraded with custom buildings and objects and elevation corrections. Many fine details for these airports have been included.
This add-on scenery offers the user a lot to explore, and the high level of realism enhances the flight simulator’s experience. The add-on is excellent for low and slow flying, and it blends in well with the surrounding areas.
This release for USA/Canada comes after Orbx’s successful production of high quality scenery products for Australia.
