NMG Trading is proud to present the release of the Western Cape Landclass file for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. This file covers the Western Cape, South Africa from Cape Town up to Malmesbury, Wellington, Theewaterskloof Dam, Cape Point and back to Cape Town.

This scenery file is now both Flight Simultor 2002 and Flight Simultor 2004 compatible. Your registration key will also unlock both versions. You will therefore be able to upgrade, or downgrade for that matter, at no extra cost. This scenery file is also fully compatible with the South Africa 2002 Scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

What is a landclass file? A landclass file is what Microsoft uses to position the autogen buildings in the Flight Simulator world. It therefore controls what you see in terms of where the different cities and towns are located and what they will look like. As we all know, the data Microsoft used to build the Western Cape with is grossly off. Many of the smaller towns are simply not there and many of the towns are totally in the wrong position. That is why you will see houses on top of Table Mountain in the default Microsoft Flight Simulator scenery!

This file will correct all that. It will correct the placement of the cities and towns and add the ones Microsoft has left out. This file will for example add the townships on the Cape Flats which have been left out in the default Flight-Sim 2002/4 scenery. This file also includes a new DEM file that will make Table Mountain look more like the real thing!

This scenery file sells for R69.95 (ZAR) and comes with one years free upgrades and product support.
