First add on releases for CFS3, inc. free Me109.

Posted on Thu, 28 Nov 2002 07:23:08 GMT
In what is believed to be the first complete aircraft add-on release for CFS3,  Aeroplane Heaven has upgraded its Battle of Britain MegaPack, previously for FS 2002 and CFS2, to be fully compatible with CFS3. The pack contains a Spitfire Mk 1, a  Hurricane Mk1,  Hurricane Mk2C and an Me109e. All aircraft are also available singly, with the Me109 available as a free download once you register as a member with the site. Already, missions are being tested for use with these aircraft in CFS3 to provide players with earlier war scenarios such as the Battle of Britain,  taking advantage of the additional special effects possible in the new simulator.

Also just released at
Aeroplane Heaven is the Grumman F3F-2 carrier bi plane, the  pre-eminent American carrier fighter of the immediate pre war period, which also saw limited combat early in the war and carried on as a trainer right up to the end of 1941.  This pack comes with a mini 'campaign' created with third party- designed ships such as the 'Lexington' and a host of early aeroplanes from both sides. The F3F-2 may well be released in CFS3 in the near future.

While there are still many issues with CFS3, there are some wonderful effects in the programme.
Aeroplane Heaven has committed to building for CFS3 and more product is on the drawing board.
