It features a custom Engravity high resolution backlighting frontplate, with a custom Engravity push button. The pushbuttons are are backlit in green, with the backlight on the numbers in warm white. The Mode Control Panel interfaces with Microsoft Flight Simulator using Magenta MCP software.
There are five digital decoders to set for Altitude, Vertical Speed, Heading, Speed, Left and Right heading; and all parts are extremely high quality, with half million cycle rated encoders, autothrottle ARM switch with electromagnetic disengage, and bank selector knob give this an unmatched sense of realism.
It also comes provided with a wide capability to expand through it's 5 pole DIN auxiliary port and is ready to go without any need for additional configuration with your existing software. You can even add any additional modules at any time, since the Mode Control Panel forms the hub of all of the data exchange, so all you need to do is connect the additional module in the port and you are ready to go.
The panel has 14 backlit pushbuttons, three round pushbuttons to select CO, ALT INT, and SPEED INT functions, two Flight Director switches with "MA" amber LED indicators, a vertical speed thumb wheel and flat disengage lever; with all of your selected values being displayed through white 7 segment LED displays.
The built in flash memory also provides easy access to the software for updating your Mode Control Panel with future improvements and expansions. It also offers a programming mode so you can configure your main hardware preferences without the need for additional PC software.
