Abacus Releases Four New Products

Now available from Abacus are four new add-ons for both FS2004 and FS2004. Included are USA Extreme Landscapes (improved USA scenery), Commuter Pilot (commuter aircraft), WWII Carrier Ops (aircraft carrier planes), Fighter Pilot (modern jet fighters). For more information, click on Read More.

This week we're announcing four new add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator FS2004 & FS2002. These new titles are:

  • USA Extreme Landscapes
  • Commuter Pilot
  • WWII Carrier Operations
  • Fighter Pilot

USA Extreme Landscapes magnifies the detail of the continental USA up to 15 times and dramatically increases the visual accuracy and beauty of the scenery. You'll fly any of the included pre-planned flight in the Piper Dakota (from well-known Carenado Developers) to enjoy the lay of the terrain up close. Available February, $29.95. 

Commuter Pilot puts you into the cockpit of these five popular aircraft used by many commuter lines: ATR-72, Beech 1900D, Boeing 757, BAE-146 and CRJ-700. The jet aircraft include new FMC (from RealGauges) to relieve you of some of the navigation and flight chores. Available March, $29.95. 

WWII Carrier Operations takes you back to the historic eara of carrier-based aircraft. You'll fly from the deck of the USS Enterprise and experience the ultimate challenge in aviation as you master the characteristics of these planes: F4U Corsair, F4F-4 Wildcat, F6F-3 Hellcat, TBF-1 Avenger, SDB-3 Dauntless. When you attemt a carrier landing, you'll try to catch the working arrestor cable (from Richard Hogan). Available March, $29.95.

Fighter Pilot lets you experience the four top fighters: F-14 Tomcat, F-15C Eagle, F-16 Falcon and F/A-18 Hornet. More then 24 planes in varying paint schemes including US Air Force, US Navy, Belgium, Kuwait, Spain, Israel and Japan. Available March, $29.95.
