AlphaSim Supermarine Spitfire Package Released

Posted on Sun, 22 Feb 2004 22:05:39 GMT

Now available from Alpha Simulations is their flightsim version of the WWII era Supermarine Spitfire single engine fighter. The package includes two distinct variants both in several paint schemes. For full details, click on Read More.

Our Spitfire model has been extensively updated and now features 2 distinct variants, the Mk.VIII and the Mk.IX, both come with a typical grey/green camo texture set as well as a more unusual desert camo scheme. Also included is a detailed virtual cockpit with several animations, a Merlin soundset and finely-tuned, sim-specific flight models. Dynamic shine is of course standard and the grey/green camo textures in particular are extremely highly detailed, with virtually every rivet depicted. The package is free to existing owners of our previous Spitfire LFMk.IX.
