Horizon Flight Simulation is beginning shipment of custom made flight yokes with the first, a Model 67, being sent to Dublin, Ireland.

Horizon manufactures yokes of all sorts and will custom build any yoke to the customer's request. All yokes feature at least dual trim rockers, a push-to-talk switch and an autopilot disconnect switch. The yoke columns are constructed of aluminum and control forces are simulated from internal gas springs. A seperate internal device provides centering when the yoke is released. The final product resembles your favorite airliner and feels very similar.

Horizon offers all yokes in three different versions. A version for the desktop user who simply connects the attached gameport connector and is up and running. A second version, provides a labeled cable identifying all wires for easy connection to output cards such as Epic and FSBus. The third version is geared towards the serious home cockpit builder who needs two yokes linked together. The latter two versions also offer custom made stick shaker units which attach to the rear of the control column.
