You don't want to call FS a 'game' around here, _________________

If it is a game, where is the opponent? How do you keep score? Where are the weapons, magic, armies or other ?
It is a simulator, not a game. It is designed to simulate the flight of aircraft on a computer. It is not perfect in that regard, but it does reasonably well unless the person using it is totally clueless.
So, if you think it is a game, it is only because your competence in using it doesn't permit realistic flight. _________________ CrashGordon

A game is something with levels and unlocks where you can adventually finish all the missions and rise through all the levels, but on FS there's is always another place to fly. _________________

| Well the original only asked for 1.8GB alone befor adding everything to it. Also yes Flight simulator is a simulator, u can always do something diferent to change it not like missions in a game. |

to some people it is a game, like those who want to fly around in fighter jets (me and generally arse around. It is a sim to those who want to simulate real world flights and do things by the book. _________________ Guess who's back, back again |

By that standard, automobiles are a game because there are morons who engage in street racing. _________________ CrashGordon

Combat flight simulator, Lock On and Falcon 4.0 are games, unlike FS2004, that are more suited for flying fighters, you can screw around a blow things up. I call FS2004 and FSX, simulators.
Sam,
Yes, we are obsessed. Why else would we be here at this forum? Many people are obsessed with more expensive hobbies, Golf for one. There's nothing wrong with a passion for aviation. |
