|
|
I just install FSX Demo and had a short first check flight.
These shots are with all hardware settings to MAX and screen resolution to 1152 x 864 and of course with no-edit at all except the resizing.
Some first conlusions...Great welcome music, nice menu,Better Scenery, detailed houses, great trees acceptable water textures...In low flights i notice difference between the blurry scenery of the default FS9.
I also didnt notice any problem with my system performance while i run it.
My specs
AMD 64 3400+ 2.4GHZ
NVidia 6800 512mb
RAM 3GB
Installed in 120GB IDE H/D.
Have a look

Excellent.
That should put to rest all the complaints that the demo sucks. If your demo looks crappy, it's because your computer is isn't up to the task..
The reflection of the plane in the water was really nice. _________________ CrashGordon

I too like the way it looks on your machine, yes the water is excellent looking but you do have a super card.
Nice, you must be getting high FPS in the graphic intensive areas.
Try loading a pay-ware aircraft into it and see what the does to the FPS.

Wow, thanks for taking the time to render them pics. With so many negative posts about the Demo you brought back hope again. I'll be happy if only water textures were included in this new version. That alone is worth the upgrade.
I have a Geforce 6800 Ultra 256 MB card. I thought that was the max memory. You say yours is 520 Mb? Please confirm, that spec is correct. I'm out of town so haven't checked the demo. More pics, please. I noticed you know how to pick nice shots compared to the ones posted over the internet that look crappy and doesn't show the best features. Dare you for some dynamic highway shots. |
