Well i try to install a payware craft but seems that its locked for this option or i miss something...
Anyway i get some more shots in day and dusk in order to get an idea how it will looks like...I also edit these shots with the same way i do for FS9(Color expsosure, resizing and sharpness increasing)
Have a look and get your conclusions

Thanks guys.
I don't share these shots in order to advertise my system This is clear
Besides its a medium one according to what we can find in the market this moment.
My only purpose is to show people that after some long discussions we had about what kind of system we should have in order to run FSX and if we had to upgrade to a super wooow one or not...
My first conclusions-and correct me if I'm wrong-is that we have been trapped from the load of articles about what FSX needs and run to the H/W shops and spend a load of money in hardware stuff in order to be ready...
I believe(with a medium system) that if we patiently wait for FSX ,and install it, most of us will run it...Maybe some of us with lower settings and some other with higher...But we will run it
MS want to sell the product too...They don't want to make something that only a few people can get....They advertise their product with such a way in order to help hardware brands to sell...Thats marketing tricks...
If i have to propose something is to install this demo, play with the settings and see what we get...Then we discuss it again...
Of course these are only some thoughts from an amateur and any corrections or objections are acceptable. _________________

Great shots and I agree wholeheartedly with your views on the types of PC's we will need.

Cool.
My PC with 2GB DDR2 and an XFX 6800XT XXX 512mb Edition should run this well when I upgrade from a celeron
Might go dual core as I have heard this produces good results on FSX. |

| Cool shots, I have instaled the demo and have pushed almost all the sliders to high, and my computer can run FSX. The only problem is with the water slider pushed to 2x the water still doesn't reflect. Is there something I missed, the demo looks great, just not as good as it did in your shots. |

The first package of shots(The DH ones)are not edited at all.The second ones with the BB-58 has been edited by adding more sharpness. Both are resized to 800 x 600 which anyway improves the shots quality. So the fact that probably you notice better water reflections than yours maybe its only a matter of editing and nothing more...Just a thought
Maybe if you tell us your systems specs and post a screenshot too could help us more.

The "Arena" would be just right for the front view, then have a "Powerscape" for rear vision. I could really enjoy that!

| Hi, I'm the one that just wrote about the reflections in the water on the demo. I don't think it was the fact that you edited the photos that made them look so cool. But my water looks like it did in MSFS2004. It's a flat blue surface and will show the shadow of the plane but not the reflection of the plane. I don't know how to take screen shots but I know that the computer isn't possing a problem. It can run the game at Ultra High settings on almost anything the demo has. Including the water slider set at 2.X but still no reflections. I dunno what I'm doing wrong |
