Hey all,
Having played the demo I was quite dissappointed in not only the performance but the graphics of the game which I have also heard other people say, I keep looking at all the fsx screenshots on other random sites it does look amazing, Can anyone here be sure that the Full game will be top notch, I have heard that the demo was just something microsoft stuffed together quickly for the public to have a quick play on?? thats why it run crap on some machines, Comments would be great, Sorry all for running on, Im just getting really excited about the release date, Cant wait to buy now as most of you ppl cant either,
Cheers all for your help |

Yes, the demo was just a beta version with a lot of bugs and errors in; ones that should be corrected for the complete version. Everybody will have to just wait and see! _________________ Click below to support FSF:

There are people which will buy FSX anyway...There are others which will wait to see post and opinions form the first ones...There are also some others which are very suspicious about FSX...and there are also some others who wont get bothered from FSX(As they State )
The first ones(Those which are going to Buy it)are going to feedback us.And all the other are going to buy it.All of them...Why?..Because simply FSX will be better from FS9.This is a fact
There are many many reasons to explain why it will be better. The more obvious one is that FS9 was better the FS2002 and so will be FSX.
I don't think that MS people are so stupid to produce something that wont be better from the previous version.
Now all the problems comes to us and to our systems performance.
Yes most of our systems need to be upgraded in order to run FSX.
But not only for FSX...There are a lot of Games that are more power and sources hungry from our Simulator so why we are so bad against MS people?
They walk in the future as they must do.
This will make hardware brands(and MS) to become reacher and competitive but they also spend a load of money in their R & D departments. This is good.
New games = More power = New Hardware = More money from us to spend.Thats the deal and thats the way system works...Its not always so bad.
My humble opinion.

I use payware exclusively, so until all my payware gets converted over I'm not going to purchase it because right now its rather unexciting to use. Hopefully by the time Vista and Direct X10 comes out there will be a lot of payware available to make it more enjoyable. _________________

Very reasonable thought. _________________

It just gives me a reason to spend an unreasonable amount of cash on a new computer. _________________

Solo and Greek: Couldn't agree more. Heck, I have CFS-2 tweaked with add-ons to the max and still love that game for the sheer fun of just flying a Corsair against a Zero...or even a Zero against a Corsair... Uh... it's not a career, it's just a hobby, right?
I like FS9 for a number of reasons, but I don't even bother with CFS-3, since THAT iteration has major stutters-- even on my 2.85 GHZ machine. I, like probably the entire FS community, was hoping the newer versions of DX10 would bring about a revolution that didn't just satisfy the frame rate needs of the digit twidgits looking to kill cops in their street violence scenarios. I was hoping it would allow us air simmers the opportunity to enjoy full scenery experiences in FSX without three-second catchup lags on ILS final to JFK. IMHO. |
