I use MS Force Feedback 2 joystick with the new demo.
With FS2004 there is no feel to flying through the stick other than a bump with landing gear, stick shake, etc.
But with Sim X you feel the flying through the stick. Like solid power steering only better.
The planes and the chopper too. You can feel the air and the machines reaction to it by pressure.
This is really impressive to me. Really adds to the realism of flying. |

Sounds good!
I have the Sidewinder Pro USB no FF.
I have my doubts that it'll work with Vista. Now that I see that FF works better in FSX than it does in XP I'll make that a consideration when getting a new stick.
I have a FF steering wheel and it's great when driving a sim like Nascar or my favorite http://www.liveforspeed.net/.

Cool. It is really a significant feature, and worth the investment. I had been thinking of getting a new stick because FF was not very good in FS2004. But now I see it was not the stick. Guess I'm going to have to get this new sim. |
