Worldwide level of scenery detail

Hi all,

I have carried out the relevant searches etc and cannot find the answer to my question - and the answer will determine whether or not I buy the sim... so here goes:

In the retail version of FSX, will the UK terrain be of the same 'aerial photography' quality as it is over St Martin/Maarten in the FSX demo?

I ask as I am impressed with the level of detail of St Martin/Maarten and as you would expect with aerial/satellite photography it is very accurate. For all those of you who haven't visited the island it is identical!
I currently live in Anguilla which, if you play the demo is the flat island to the north of St Martin. Over Anguilla and the surrounding northern Leeward Islands, the scenery is 'generic' as it was generally in FS2004. If the whole FSX world is like the demo St Martin then that would be great.

I have read online that there will be addons available to upgrade the FSX UK to true VFR levels which in my mind implies that the FSX UK scenery is not of the same standard as the demo St Martin.

I would love to be able to fly over my old house in the UK but was wondering if I would need to spend yet more money in order to buy a third party addon?
