| Just wondering, is it possible to download stuff from Flight Simulator X, say replacing the fs2004 tree scenery with the tree scenery from the X version? I thought it's possible to download stuff from X instead of buying the entire game. Is it possible to do that? |

You'll very seldom find any default downloads, if you own FSX you don't need them and if you don't they may not work in another version.
There is an excellent tree download I used in FS9 in the scenery forum. It looks better than the original and is much more frame friendly.

You get improvements with a 14gig installation, if you have the machine to run it.

You may not be able to addon FSX trees but you can download aircraft addons for FSX and put them on fs2004.  |
