No aiport buildings (terminals etc..) just runways?

When I land at an major airport there are no terminals etc.. just the runways appear.
How do I get the whole aiport to appear? |

| Does this affect framerates badly?, is there anyway to build up the airport without actually haveing any other buidings anywhere else? |

It may. depending on your computer, all you can do is try it and see, tweaking is the answer.
