Ghost is one of several programs that can copy an entire hard drive, or just a partition to another hard drive.
As a example, i added a new drive, jumpered as a slave, (D drive temporarily), and used GHOST 10 to copy the entire C drive to it. I then removed the smaller old C drive, changed the jumpers on the new drive to make it a master, and booted up with it. the computer didn't know it was working with anything differant, just that it had a lot more free space. |
