|
|
This is now my longest trip i'v ever done on FSX this trip took me 15hours 28min's
My speed was 320knots at 30000ft witch was not overspeeding
i flew in a A340-600 in new house couler's.
I took off at GATWICK airport in britian with full fuel at 7:00am flew over europe and landed for more fuel at BHUBANESHWAR
then made the rest of the way to KINGSFORD SMITH INTL and landed at 8:00pm australian time.
and the reason i was flying in house coulers was because i had no airline with fly's that fare so i just picked the house coulers
Oh and sorry for the amount of pics.
Also i would resize these pics to 600x800 but it took to long with so many pics.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taxing to runway
Cleard for takeoff runway 26L
Climbing to 30000ft and have France in sight
Cruisng at 30000ft over the english channel
Now over India at sunset
Dark and cold (-21) outside and nice and warm inside but where are the passengers
Just about to desend
Desending slowly 70miles till i get to BHUBANESHWAR Airport
I can see the airport dead ahead
Cleard to land
Reverse frust slowing to 25knots
Taxing to gate
Gate was too small for this plane so i impervised
Full fuel and ready to go and i also changed the time so i could fly in the daytime better pics.
Taxing to the end off the runway for tackoff
Climbing to 30000ft again
Flying over the water and heading near Smith Island
Close up
Heavy cloude over the Indian Ocean
Flying over Indonesia in the philippense Islands
Pulau Karimata islands on wing view
The Dili Islands the last island untill i fly over Australia
Now flying over Australia
Country part of Australia
Flying near the airport while desending
Tower View while lineing up wit runway
Runway in sight Gear down
Cleard to land (I had a hard time landing at this airport for some reason)
Touchdown
Taxing to Gate 50
Um... i thought i took a pic of the plane at the gate but i fink i pressed C instead of pressing V sorry.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any way that it that was my stip hope you like my pics

Very nice shots! To save fuel on such long journeys pilots often fly the birds close to 40,000 ft. |

Great shots my friend but I reckon the reason you had trouble landing was because you had WAY too much fuel left for landing going by the screenshot where you have 55% left. try to have at least less than 20% fuel when attempting to land preferrably 15%.
Keep up the great shots!

No it wasnt that i can land that plane with 99% of fuel if i wanted to
it was just that i couldnt figure out the glide slop in that plane as it my new one's and then there was the trim witch i never new the autopilot turned the whole elivater and when i turned off A/P it stayed where it was and i never new how to put it back but now i know i forgot to use trim _________________
