    Steeler Air- Updates and Upgrades

    Good afternoon shareholders.

Today I do not have a flight to tell you about, but I wanted to let you know what the company's financial state is, and how your money is being spent.

    First the books...

As you can see after only a few short months, Steeler Air has definitely been making some money. We are well on our way to breaking even, and at this pace I foresee by the end of the next fiscal quarter we will be turning a profit. Our goal has been to maintain the utmost in service. I spare no expense to get the best meals from VIP to coach class... and other amenities such as movies on every flight over 1:30 long, in flight music on XM sattelite radio, help to achieve the customer satisfaction rating we now have... 99%.

The real winners are the pilots. I have 4 of the best pilots I could find, plus myself, and over the next quarter I plan on hiring 4 more as the budget develops. Our safety record speaks for itself... there has only been ONE incident where we needed to land in a divert field, and I was able to safely put us down in Roanoke, VA, after a birdstrike and subsequent engine failure.

Our pilots put in long hours many days a week to fulfill the travel needs of the public, and partnerships with carriers such as US Air, United, Delta, and Air Canada have given us a wealth of flight hours filling the gaps between the cities. As you can see we now fly to every single city that has a NFL football team. Go ahead... count them... Cleveland is in there somewhere. All told we have made 71 flights to date, including one charter flight to St. Maarten so the crews could get a few days rest and relaxation.

And now the moment you have all been waiting for, the FLEET!

As you know we recently severed our ties to the repainting firm FSRepaint, as they were having labor issues, and with the recent grant from the Rooney family, we were able to join forces with the company Photoshop/Imagetool LLC to create new, more vibrant liveries. At the request of the Steeler franchise we have corrected an oversight in our livery design that had the official Steeler logo placed on the wrong side of the tailplanes. Submit for your approval, the NEW IMPROVED Steeler Air fleet:

ST86LR "Spirit of Hines Ward", my personal plane, used on many routes to the major cities in the northeast and midwest.

ST43LR "Spirit of Troy Polamalu", piloted by Fred Chambers, who regularly flies the southeast routes and fills in for me in the northeast when needed.

ST39LR "Spirit of Willie Parker", is piloted by Kyle Wiggand, who regularly makes hops from the midwest to the southwest and southeast. Kyle used to pilot the 777 we had, which I had to sell due to high overhead

ST03LR "Spirit of Jeff Reed", is Jimmy Salapi's plane... since he was upgraded to captain. He does all our short hops... PIT to CLE... TPA to JAX... JFK to DCA... that kind of thing.

And our "quarterback of the Fleet... ST07LR "Spirit of Ben Roethlisberger"... piloted by none other than Lolo Delgado. The talented young lady flies all our PIT to West and Northwest routes with ease. ST07LR is actually a new plane acquired by United in a recent trade. The original 757 is slated to be redesignated, pending new pilot hires.

Lolo's plane is the star of the fleet as these next few slides will show.

Even though it has a few miles on it, United did a sterling job in keeping her up to snuff inside and out. Only cosmetic flaws on this bird.

And a first class cabin to rival all others...

So as you can see your money my fellow shareholders is well spent. The extra we spend to make our aircraft appealing inside and out pays dividends for us all in revenue from the vaunted VIP passenger, to the average steeler fan flying coach out to the game in Phoenix. We are truly well on our way to realizing our motto... bringing the black and gold to the world!

I thank you for your continued support and I envision great things for the next fiscal year as we get more solidified. On the agenda we plan on purchasing a 767 and a 747 to begin the next leg of our plan... intercontinental flights.

On a sidenote... with my own pay I was able to refurbish my own personal plane, a WWII vintage Corsair, which I intend to fly in next year's Wings Over Pittsburgh air show... here she is...

    ST00LR "Spirit of Chuck Noll"

I thank you fellow shareholders for your time... and GO STEELERS!

It was a tough choice between that and the Phoenix 757... I think I made the right choice though.

Fantastic report Belgeode. I have one remark to make though. I understand that you want your aircraft registrations to resembel the team's name Steeler, but since the aircraft are registered in the US they should have N infront of any other letters or nimbers you want to put in. N is the code letter for the US. Wink

Yeah I know that lol. That is something I was gonna add in... but laziness ensued.

Give it time I will add the N to the front of it... eventually hahahaha.

Steeler Air- This ain't the SHORT BUS!

Today was a glorious day for Steeler Air!

As part of a deal I have been putting together with United, and with Allegheny Airport Authority (owners of KPIT), the first of 2 two planes arrived today... already repainted by Photoshop/Imagetool LLC with the new livery, and at the request of a pilot friend of mine in Vegas we included the N in the FAA registration. Presenting NST36LR "Spirit of Jerome Bettis"! (the other planes are being repainted to reflect the N also. Razz )

This 747-400 is the official replacement for the 777 that we had that proved more trouble than it was worth. The deal is United supplies the planes, we fly the routes and save them money, meanwhile Allegheny Airport Authority gets its dream of more large capacity aircraft actually USING KPIT as a hub. More passengers through the airport = more revenue for the city of Pittsburgh. Win - Win.

So it's time to take this bad boy for a checkride to see if it really lives up to the Spirit of Jerome Bettis "The Bus". I drafted Fred to come with as he was in town for a couple days before his next flight, and of course Jessica and Tiffany HAD to take a gander at the inside. As I prepared to taxi us to 28C, lo and behold who comes RUNNING AT TOP SPEED out our offices... Lolo Delgado. Dear lord help us.

"Ok so like, you are SOOO not going to sit there" She tells Fred.

"Excuse me?" Fred replied, staring at me for confirmation.

I just kinda shook my head as Lolo de-seated Fred and put on the headset. Poor Fred now relegated to the "Navigation seat", gave me a look like I betrayed him.

"Ok Captain, where we flying to?"

Lolo this is a check ride, that's all it is... we wanna make sure all systems work then we can set it up for transatlantic flights to Great Britain.

"OOH OOH OOH!!! I WANT THE FIRST FLIGHT TO LONDON!!!!"

Omg... This is not a lottery to see who gets to fly it, Kyle is already slated for this due to his extensive experience in heavies...

"KYLE'S A NERD! The only heavy he flies is his wife! And from what I hear she don't get the same mileage. Come on Bel... PLEEEEAAAASE!!! I promise I will stop treating Jeffon like my lapdog, and I'll even volunteer to fly every OTHER Tuesday!

Sometimes I swear she can be soooo annoying. But for the life of me I cannot bring myself to fire her... let alone find fault with her. Her record speaks for itself.

Ok Lolo, a compromise... we fly to London TOGETHER.

"You have GOT to be kidding me... after the last time I flew with you? You were yakking like a freaking driving school old lady... do this... N1... left heading blah blah blah... I'd sooner take the funny looking guy there." she stated, pointing at Fred.

"WTH, what is that supposed to mean Miss Missy?" Fred got up.

"Girlfriend you better just sit before your wrist gets any limper." Lolo retorted.

OK OK Knock it off already. It's my damn airline and what I say is final. Unless you all wanna find a different job? Now sit down Fred, Lolo shut up, and let's get this checkride over with. Sheesh. You'd think I employed elementary schoolers.

I could just barely hear Lolo mumble "What crawled up his butt today...", and Fred respond "Oh he got his tooth pulled today, he's a lil... rawr... today"

I gave them both the look of death. That shut them up.

I made the call to the tower for permission to change course to 100 degrees... that way I can do the customary flyby on downtown Pittsburgh, in prep for base leg.

I then had Lolo make a call to Jess and Tiff to see what they thought of the cabin and galley. No answer....

    "Flight Attendants please respond"...

    "FLIGHT ATTENDANTS!!!"

    Finally a response...

"WHAT, We're trying to sleep here in the "Red Zone Club!" as Jessica referred to the upper deck. Well at least it had a name now.

I got on the horn; Look you two are supposed to evaluate the equipment, not sleep on the job.

"We're quality assurance testing!!!" Tiffany added. "God what crawled up his butt today?"

Jess deliberately left the mic open to respond to her "He got his tooth pulled today, he's being a you know what."

    I HEARD THAT!!!

Mental Note- when I finally fly this thing to London, leave the whole lot of them there, and hire new people there.

Ok Lolo, take us around to 100, then file an IFR plan for us to land... looks like those clouds are not breaking... and I would rather not break this thing on its first flight with us.

"Hello??? What you think this is the SHORT BUS? I ain't stupid! I already filed an IFR plan, I was just waiting for YOU to stop being a jerk to our flight attendants and gimme the ok."

OK, why the hell is everyone picking on me today?!?!

"It's ok boss... I still love ya." Fred chuckled.

"Ok, Mr. Rogers, you keep that man love out my cockpit aight? aight!" Lolo demanded.

You know I REALLY have half a mind to fly us to Cleveland and drop all of you off, if you don't start acting professionally!

"SIR YES SIR!" Both Lolo and Fred snapped.

All I could do was roll my eyes, as I rolled the jet.

    Intercom again... Jessica...

"Hey grumpy, stop rolling the plane so much, Tiffany and I can't sleep!"

    sigh....

A few LOOOOOONG minutes later we got ILS clearance on runway 28L and we were lined up. Usual Pittsburgh fall weather... more clouds than ground.

Ladies and Gentlemen please fasten your seatbelts for landing. Flight attendants please prepare the cabin for landing.

Lolo taps me on the shoulder...

"Dude... you KNOW that we are the only people on board right? There ARE no passengers."

I could hear Fred chuckling in the back as I once again rolled my eyes.

You know that runway never looked as sweet as it does now. The moment I sign off on this plane I am going to bed... AWAY from these lunatics I call employees.

"Lookin good there Boss!" Fred Chimes in.

"Lookin gooooood there Boss... " Lolo mocked... "Brown-noser"

    "Tramp" Fred replied...

"OH NO HE DIDN'T... GIRLFRIEND IT'S ON!"

"Honey you could not handle this... so why don't you take your adolescent looking self and take it down the road..." Fred added as he gave Lolo the "hand"

"Ok Limpy the wrist... you and me on the tarmac... Bel hurry up and land this thing!"

WILL YOU ALL SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!! OMG YOU ALL DRIVE ME NUTS! SHUT UP AND HELP ME LAND THIS THING!!!

Intercom crackles to life... Tiffany... "Dude, quiet down up there, we can hear you in coach."

    SHUT UP!!!!!!!

(Am I losing it? OMG... maybe it's just the pain from my teeth.)

    ...
    ...

    ...
    ...

"Nice landing there Bel" Lolo complimented... followed shortly by...
"That beats my last 3" Fred Added.... Intercom....
"That was pretty smooth there grumpy, wasn't that a soft landing Tiff?"

"Oh yes... like landing on a pillow..."

Ok, I definitely need to go home and get some rest.

No such luck... hold for departing Airbus...

Ok listen people... since I have you all here. I am sorry I been a bit snippy lately. This has not been easy on me losing 2 wisdom teeth. I DO appreciate all you do for me, for the airline, for Pittsburgh in general... I'm just not in the mood right now. Can everyone PLEASE sign off on this plane so I can tell United we will keep it, then this saturday, we will all break this in on our inaugural transatlantic flight to London.

What the heck is that noise... are they all clapping?

    OMG... bunch of hams.

Report from Jessica... She has dibs on the Red Zone deck... because the seats are comfy... and maaaaan you could just lay out!

Report from Tiffany... She thinks Jess is getting preferential treatment, but she agrees that First Class is the way to go, and volunteers to work that area.

Report from Fred... He does not mind navigating since the system does most of the work... but he INSISTS on doing something about the interior decor before we leave for London. It's just sooooo 70's.

Report from Lolo... The controls are well placed, but a bit sensitive, the autopilot system needs an upgrade to the latest version, otherwise not in bad shape for an older plane, and on a sidenote... she wants the first shift flying, then she will change with me, then she wants landing shift. Why..... cause she can.

Report from Bel... United... we have a deal. We'll take it.

Papers signed... now I am going to bed. Nite.

    What's that Lolo?

NO YOU CANNOT TUCK ME IN!!!! GET OUT OF MY ROOM AND TURN OFF THAT LIGHT!!!
