If money is all you're concerned with, than Rock Star is the way to go. Yes, they earn way more than the tinsel town mega super stars and top sports pros.

Think about the easy road you'll be traveling -- sex, drugs and rock and roll. You won't have to worry about engine failures and the comfort of your passengers and the only high you'll ever experience will in a physical sense be pretty close to the ground level Laughing

I personally, don't really care about income if I become a pilot, I only want to for the sheer thrill of flying Wink

I agree with Cheeks. Plus don't forget the amount of years you have to study to become a doctor eventhough it pays off a lot afterwards. Doing an integrated ATPL takes an average of 1.5 years.

I agree that thats not quite accurate. It's different everywhere you go.My father was an airline pilot flying the bae146 whisper jet, and said that most of the airline pilots were in it for the money, but alot of pilots who have been mustering cattle and only earning around $30,000-$50,000 with the small aircraft for 30 odd years were alot happier with there job and with life.So i guess it all depends on your choice of lifestyle.

well i want a decent life and to be able to do a job i love to pay off bills here ill put it like this

    a job i hate = a crappy life

    a job a i love = a awesome life

and with a bunch of money from doing to something i love i could pay off all of my bills and still have enough for some fun like computers vacations with a wife and children and they wont have the messed up life i have although im not saying it sucks i just want them to be happy.

i know this extremely early for me to start thinking about this at 12 years but it's better to plan ahead than not know what to do in real life without my parents or school to help me through life. and this is a good idea because i dont wanna be living in a bad place looking up at the sky wondering what couldve been.

I dont mind if you guys care about money, but I want to be an airline pilot because its fun, all the atmosphere is fun while, landing, taking off, cruising, everything is fun. I consider myself as fanatic. Some ppl think its boring, I disagree as my opinion.
