| What is the fuel weight for JET A? I see that in the different FDE's for the same aircraft, Default 747-400=6.6016 vs MELJET 747-400=6.7109, the pounds are different. Should that number be a constant per ALL jets? |

The weight of Jet A is the same for each aircraft. In the real world, the weight of Jet fuel varies with temperature with 6.7 lbs. per gallon being an average. Software programmers may have used slightly different weights within the range of weights.

Thanks CRJCapt,
I adjusted ALL jet A/C to 6.016 and it brought the majority of A?C oer weights down.
Lord, I love this stuff!
