|
|
I have downloaded a fantastic Area 51 package. The package is self-installing. The problem is, it contains a JANET 737-400. The actual JANET Airlines only has 737-200 and one 737-275. I want to replace the current AI A'C 737-400 with the AI Aardvark 737-200. Here lies the problem. I downloaded the Aardvark 737-200 and placed to in the FS9 A/'C file as described. I used TTools to locate the AI Aircraft.txt to change the A/C, but it does NOT show any AI Flight Plans for this Aircraft/Airport! After reading all the TTools tutorials, I am confident that I have searched for the Aircraft/Airport correctly. What, if anything, have I missed? _________________

OK..like I stated...Janet does not have a 737-400. I replaced it with a 737-200 Janet AI. It went screwy, as I had a Modelcopy, MS-DOS Batch file in the original 737-400 that I had to place in the new AI. Everything went fine after that.
Question: When I decompile, it sends a notepad file of the three files that I can edit. After I compile all three, it leaves the notepad docs. Can I delete these?
I read that fantastic link you suggested! I now understand more about AI.
Look at these files and give me your suggetions. I can not see the Raptors at any of the AP's at or around the times listed.
hould I redo the flightplans? I know the EXACT times for all the Janet A/C's _________________

Do not delete the notepad files... There is no harm leaving them there, and you may need them in the future.
So far your files look good!
Were there any problems compiling them? _________________

Not one problem! Everthing went off without a hitch! Now I'm getting dangerous. I'm gonna straighten out every AI flightplan I come in contact with.
Thanks so much for the assist!
