    Help!

    Thanks in advance ... Art

Can you not just drag and drop the route over the nav aid you want to use as a waypoint?

Thank you for the quick reply 99jolegg,

I'm familiar with using the nav aids. What I would like to know is if there is a way to create your own (arbitrary) way points. It is possible in FSX just by clicking a point on your route. That is what I meant by "user waypoints". The same does not appear to hold true in FS9.

    Regards ... Art

Ah right, you mean just drag and drop the route to anywhere, not specifically a nav aid and use that as your route? Yes, it's possible in FSX, I don't think it is in FS9 though.

In FSX, dragging the route to any point (that isn't a nav aid) will create "WP1", then "WP2" etc etc.

What about waypoints that you want to use but can't find for whatever reason?

I'm puzzled at what that has to do with the question at hand.

If you had read the previous replies to my original question, you should have seen that it was answered. As to my post, it makes just about as much sense as yours. Unless english is not your native language, I would suggest that you take a remedial class in sentence composition.

I don't know about english, but English is my native language.

In the future, I'll try not to be puzzled by cryptic replies.

You are correct. The word "English" should have been capitalised. I shall immediately enroll in a class for remedial spelling and grammer.

    Cheers!
