| I havent flown into Salt Lake City in FSX... Will have to try that soon. I flew in there commercially a number of years ago and remember there were mountains on all sides it seemed. Could be a challenge with a heavy. |

There are mountians to the east (Wasatch) and southwest (Oquirrh), but it's not as if the airport is in a canyon...the mountians are quite a site though; when climbing out eastward, I've had a few near-collisions with those peaks.
Anyway, there are a lot of fault lines in the valley...I think my house is actually on one of them.
Nice shots, that is an interesting perspective.  |

when i used to live in Salt Lake, when we flew in I always remember the big U on the Wasatch mountains... just one of those things when youve been away from home for a while and you see this little....land mark i guess, that just tells you...."your finally home"... _________________ SO OTHERS MAY LIVE, U.S. Coast Guard
