FS9 Keeps Crashing, whats wrong

Guys ( and Girls )

I use FS9 ( I prefer to it FSX ) anyway, it's been working fine, that was until couple of weeks ago. Everytime I click on the Kneeboard or the Map on some occasions, the game crashes and I get the message " The game had to close due to a problem blah blah blah ).
Why does this keep happening. It was fine, but now it keeps doing this, and I'm finally losing my rag with it. Any ideas as the offical site doesn't seem to be able to help.

Cheers, I tried that, but it still doesn't work. I think I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and go over to FSX, as I can't use FS9 anymore. Doh Sad

ahh try erasing the registry like the fs9.cfg if not thatt sucks Sad

Have a go over the microsoft support www and see what they say about that type of error.
