You’re sorta right warlord, I didn’t tell her I was Paul, but I did send her my avatar. I also told her that I was in my late forties, had a twenty year career as a naval aviator, and was currently a 747 pilot for a rather big airline. Her photo was a dead ringer for Marilyn Monroe. She said that she sat on the executive board of one of the world’s largest investment firms. So, needless to say, I was really looking forward to an exciting evening.
I was in the midst of downloading a bunch of AI packages for KPIT when I realized that I had to get ready for my big date. I spent the rest of the afternoon spiffing up my apartment and getting everything ready for her arrival. I cleaned everywhere, even vacuumed under the chairs, and of course, put my best set of silk sheets on the bed, along with four goose-down pillows, and a cashmere comforter. When I was finished, I jumped into the shower, shaved, and put on just a hint of Canoe (that gets ‘em every time). I took special care to comb out my favorite hair piece, the one with the crew cut, side burns, just even with the bottom of the ear lobe, and a slight touch of grey. The glue worked perfectly which made me look pretty close to my avatar image (except for the crew cut).
Next I put on my powder blue dress shirt, the one with the button down collar, and picked out a very classy dark blue tie, the one with the big yellow poky-dots. Then I topped it all off with my best custom made, pin striped, J.C. Penny suit. My cowboy boots were so shiny, I could see my face in those pointed toes. I could only hope that she wouldn’t notice the worn down heels. Man those things make it hard to walk.
Time was running out, so I rushed to the fridg, and got the Stoli bottle out of the freezer. I say bottle, because it was filled with some two and a half dollar a quart vodka (no one ever notices the difference). I proceeded to mix up some of my famous martinis, two shots of vodka, a half a snort of cheap brandy, and just a touch of Pepsi. The Pepsi really brings out the taste of those tiny little onions.
Oh-oh, the door bell, must be her. I quickly downed a couple of Viagras, and ran, well walked, (darn those boots, and no help from my walker) to the door. I opened it, and there she stood, all two hundred and fifty pounds of her! She looked at me, I looked at her, and we both shrieked. She ran so fast, I didn’t even get a chance to count how many chins she had. I watched as she ran to her twenty year old Datsun, got in, and took off, with all of its’ three cylinders screaming.
So, that was my BIG date. I got into my slick Suzuki Reno, headed for the local McDonald’s, got a couple of Big Macs, went home, enjoyed them thoroughly, along with my famous martinis, and watched some of my favorite "I Love Lucy" reruns.
Well, that’s it for me, no more on-line dating. I’m stickin’ to FS9 and Fly Away from now on!!!
Much later ... Art |

Since I've given up on computer dating, I decided to take bel's advice and down-load all those AI airlines from WOAI. Now they're all installed, and when I go to KPIT, sit there and wait for a couple of hours, nothing much happens. All I ever see is a few (5 or 6) default airplanes arrive and depart from time to time, but I never see American or Delta, or any of the others show up. Sure enough, the Traffic BGLs reside in the scenery\world\scenery folder, but still, no action. Could someone please explain to me what I'm doing wrong. I even gave up the martinis.
Thanks in advance ... Art |

Never mind. Boy oh boy, did they ever show up! Way too many, and my frame rate took a huge hit. So I yanked all the BGLs, and am putting them back in, one at a time. I'll Keep adding them until the FPS gets just short of thirty. Thanks anyway. I think I'm going back to the martinis!

at KPIT you will not see many American or Delta... but you should see US Airways out the yinyang in the morning and evening. Midday is a slow time unless it is a weekend.
Don't forget to set your traffic settings high or low depending on how much you want to see. _________________
