I have the same problem. I have trouble connecting to airflyers.
http://www.airflyers.net :
If you're using a router, or you're on a network with a shared internet connection, it's possible that you'll have problems either connecting to the flight simulation, or seeing all of the other planes in the game.
I am on network with shared internet connection 
But there is other VA. And i'm ok to play multiplayer.
