    Greekman72,
Do you know anything about the Olympus Camedia C-5500? I saw it on bestbuy.com, but I don't know if it's any good.

I've have the Olympus 550-D for a few years now and it's a great camera. I can imagine how much better the newer ones are.

Just go to www.airliners.net and look up sunset shots of the Emirates 777's. There you will find one of the best pictures I've ever seen and luckily the guy tells you what Cam he used.

Thanks JVD - I found a picture taken with a Canon EOS-20D, I'd love to have one, but they are about $1500 Shocked

Radarman, Do you have a telescoping lense for your camera? I was thinking of buying one, but I didn't know if the quality of the photo taken with them was any good.

I don't have a separate lens if that's what you mean.
The lens I have does move (by itself) to suit the picture.
Scroll down and you can read about it.

Thanks for your help Radarman and Greekman72. I've decided to keep my A75 and purchase a telescoping lense.

P.S. - I have unfortunately broken my left middle finger, which makes typing a challenge. I'll be visiting the forums, but I won't be able to reply to posts for a few days/weeks Crying or Very sad

I've got the Olympus C-8080 with all the addon lenses, telephoto, wide angle... etc. Also got a FL-50 external flash unit to go with it. Resolution is great, amazing definition/colour. I use it mainly for artistic phototography... I'll get some sample pics in a smaller format, images are about 3.8MB each at max res Confused

    Some pics of the cam/lenses:
