Can any ex RAF person or anybody settle an argument Was there ever a height restriction on pilots to fly the English Electric Lightning swept wing fighter and if so was this due to ejection seat design
There's a £5 pound note resting on this  |

I search too.I feed all the search engines i have,i find a lot of articles about this aircraft but not something about pilots height.I think we must wait for a RAF pilot to answer this  _________________

Is this what you wanted, at the bottom of the page.
Height Aviation Class 1:
Height - minimum 163 and maximum 193cm.
Sitting Height - maximum 100cm.
Buttock to knee length - maximum 67cm.
Buttock to heel length - maximum 122cm.
