Hello all.
I'm an FO with a western US regional airline just trying to keep my instrument skills tight. I have FS2004 and just wanted some opinions on the best and most realistic flight control hardware out there (at a reasonable price). I've got a CH yoke which I find to me more of a toy than anything.
I'm sure this topic has be hashed and rehashed, but I'm a newbie. Feel free to offer any links to threads that has dealt with this subject in deph. I'd really appreciate it. |

The CH Yoke, Throttle Quadrant and pedals is about the best that you can do unless you want to spend over $2000 for a set up. You may think that it's a toy but the CH products get the job done at a good price. Check out better equipment at the link below.

| Maybe I should have said that I have a 10 year old CH yoke that seems much like a toy. For all I know they have something better now. |

(Last post me)
Anyone else know of an alternative to CH that doesn't run into the bucks of the Cirrus?
I remember there being something out there for around 300 bucks, but I can't remember who made it. |

Ten years old, I'm sure they have advanced some since W95 or 3.1. Stop at a store and check them out. You can buy any hardware on line then for much less.

Those sticks probably work well and are cost effective, but my future (as far as I can tell) seems locked into yokes. (Who knows, America West with their Airbuses might come calling).
Has anyone tried the AFCS-II? $500 bucks, but is it worth it? |

As far as I know, no, but wait until others check it.
