Awesome, love the paint scheme, never realized the avionics they packed into those things, very nice. Maybe someday I'll get into choppers.

Your screenshots make it hard to believe that it's a simulator not real.
    What are your system specs.

Outstanding quality pics - but you've heard enough of this I guess. I must say, this is the best panel I've ever seen in a Heli.

A question, if I may - how did you learn to fly these recalcitrant beasts? Microsoft method, Hovercontrol course or pure determination (self-taught)??

My system specs are nothing fancy.........

    Intel Pentium 4A 2400MHz
    512 MB (DDR SDRAM )
    80 GB H/drive
    40 GB H/drive
    NVIDIA GeForce 6600GT (128MB)

I'm surprised my machine runs as smooth as it do'es with the amount of big memory/demanding payware add-ons I have, I dont even use the little tool thingy for shutting everything down before FS9 starts.

I must admit, that I'm well impressed with the performance of the graphics card, I've always used NVIDIA GeForce. I have my FPS locked at 25, I always get that aswell, although I dont have the sliders set at max. I always have display properties for FS9 set to 1280x960x32, it makes a big difference for the screenies.

I use these settings........ (you may have to click them twice to resize)

I've always used grab/clip/save for taking screenshots, take the shot in .bmp format, and then save in (My Pictures/wherever) as a JPEG image, they will look better. I'm sure that settings/sliders is down to personal preference and machine spec, graphics card etc, but maybe the above will better the screenies for some members if they try it. Wink

Pure determination really, I've always enjoyed flying the heavies long haul, but recently, I've purchased more of the lighter aircraft, such as the Flight1 ATR 72-500, and the PMDG Express B1900D, I've got my eye on another little add-on over the weekend, (but dont tell the missus Secret ). or it will be Hit with Chair she reckons I spend enough on MSFS. Thanks for sharing your methods of doing things so freely with all of us Wing-man.

Regarding your last sentence, if you take the time to read this thread Arrow http://flyawaysimulation.com/postlite9134-fs.html+widows you'll feel re-assured that this is a big club.
