Thought of you Liono as your location gives Hemel Hempstead/Luton airport. Glad you' re OK and no report of damage to your property.
Situation now being reported live on British TV - sadly there are casualties and also much damge adjacent to the depot including domestic properties. Currently Luton airport which is close by is not affected by the huge plume of smoke which is clear of the flight paths. |

I was just about to leave a message here asking if you were ok, I remembered someone was from Hemel Hempstead. The explosion could be heard here in Kent, 40 odd miles away Hope you are well and you aren't too affected _________________ Click below to support FSF:

Cheers, that's more than my supervisor thinks HE hasn't even bothered to phone me to see if I'm allright or not.
Here are some pictures I took this morning when I took my parents to Watford
This was taken from my bedroom at around 0730-0800 half a mile away
This was taken form Abotts Langley approx 4 miles away
This is taken from Bedmond approx 3 miles away
This is the scene now from my bedroom

| Yeah i saw the coverage all over the news today. Believe a couple of thousand litres of foam where pumped onto the fires today, although they are far from being put out yet. The most striking thing i found on the news was the fact that the blasts were reportedly heard from as far as 100miles away. |

I have heard from the news that this poison smoke can reach even to Spain and that authorities there are already alerted.
I wish this hell stops soon and all people in UK,France and Spain etc remain safe and without all the bad effects this mess can create... _________________

Hi Liono,
Sorry for the delayed response, but i too am glad that you are well.
I really wonder what caused that explosion? So far they say Accident, but come on, thats got to be one pretty big accident for an explosion that large. HMMMMMM
Just a miracle no one was killed.
Was there any damage to your property?
