This is the only place that I know of to get this special one. There are other "lesser" ones.
I just tried it and it worked for me.
I have cable, if you have dial-up it will take time.

I tried the site and it works well, thanks again for your help.
Since I am a trainee, could you please explain the proper procedure for installation so that FS2004 recognizes the aircraft. I downloaded some and they work great but others are not shown on the aircraft list, Please explain what I am doing wrong?????? Again, thank you for any help. |

Glad you could get the super Concord.
If some of your downloads are working then your loading them right.
Some aircraft that weren't made for 2004 will at time not show or be unstable, especially ones built for the CFS series.
Is this the case |

| The downloads are specific to FS2004 and I got them from Fly Away, it's just that the program will not recognize the aircraft after placing the panels, sound, configs, gauges and models into the appropriate folders. I have done the same with all the downloads, BUT not all show up on the aircraft list. I will find some of the examples and will post them to you for your opinion. Thank you for your help. |

If the read-me tells you to put everything into different folders that's ok, but some aircraft folders are put in "aircraft" as they come from the zip.
I'd like to see which are your problem ones and I'll try them for myself. |

These are the some of the aircraft I downloaded, some like the Coast Guard Heli had an install program and it works fine, others you had to transfer the files to the appropriate folders. They didn't specify whether to do the unzipped folder or zipped. So I unzipped all of them and transferred the folders.
The aircraft that are in the folders and don't show up on FS2004 aircraft list are: B717-200, CRJ 200 Southern Winds, Firefox, Steab2V3, Thunderbird, Galaxy C5, SGA_MD83, UH-60 Blackhawk2, XB-70-FS9, Huges 500d-2Sheriff and the Dash8-100.
Any suggestions as to how can I get them on the list and use them would be appreciated. |

| Ok. Saw the original request re: Concorde and your recommendation. Just what I was looking for! Did the downloads started the installation - shame my french isn't better, but think I got the gist of the install program's instructions. Base File seemed to go ok, 'though I think some files were put into the Root folder for FS2004. Then the sound installation program. The site says that they would be installed to "the plane's sound folder". Nope. It put the lot into the FS2004 root folder; and there isn't a sound folder within PM2_Concorde. Problem - do I force the installer to put them into FS2004 "Sound" folder or create a sound folder inside PM2_Concorde? Any ideas? I have the installation on hold at this stage pending expert advice, LOL. |

If you go to the last posting by Radarman, he has 3 links for aircraft installation and I found them very helpful. It describes the proper procedure for tranferring folders so that you don't get lost and end up with an aircraft that's not recognized.
