I run Sierra Pacific Virtual and I'm planning on selling the airline to my brother Nick O'Dell CEO of Family Virtual Airlines. I will be closing because I can't seem to find a fleet painter and 2 pilots. If you want to feel free to visit my website at http://www.freewebs.com/sierrapacific

That is the same type of crap the screenshot gallery is (in)famous for.

If someone chooses to fly for a VA solely on the web site's graphics, that person probably isn't worth having as a pilot.

And I think your comment would be credible if you could create and maintain a VA and its web site.

But as is all to frequently the case, all you can do is be critical of others while producing nothing worthwhile yourself.

    Have a nice life.

My website has been redone. And I still need a fleet painter for our new fleet.

Although I am not a fan of freewebs, what possible difference does it make, where the site is hosted? If it has the needed information and the roster and logs are updated regularly, that's all that matters.

When you get a gift, are you concerned with what is in the package or the wrapping?

Or how about this...are the opinions of anonymous posters worth as much as those who are members?

Your logic is seriously flawed. Stop needlessly picking on the guy.

I agree. However, (this isn't directly related to SierraPacific) wouldn't you expect something to be of higher quality if you have paid for it, such as a paying for a website? Just a thought Wink

I suppose mine is a minority view. I think a web site's first obligation is to reliably provide information that is useful to the viewer.

Window dressing and eye candy is not something I give a rat's patoutie about.

While domain registration and web hosting is cheap, expecting people on a limited budget to spend money on a newly launched enterprise that doesn't generate an income, is unrealistic.

I just get cranky over the, "Your website isn't in a fancy(expensive) neighborhood so your VA isn't credible", attitude that the "anonymous" poster who wants to participate only if he doesn't have to pay anything, was saying.
