Hi guys,
After my long haul flight the other day between Auckland and Brisbane, it got me in the mood to do another one again in the delightful iFDG A320.
This time, I took off from Brisbane (YBBN) on the east coast of Australia, and headed north up to the Pacific Ocean to the islands of Vanuata landing at Bauerfiled (NVVV) in the city of Port Vila. That took me 2.5 hours which I flew half of yesterday, then finished off today. Once I landed, I parked up, ate dinner, then took off again and headed west to the islands of Fiji, landing at Nadi International (NFFN) which 1.5 hour journy.
This is an original photo of the Air New Zealand "Star Alliance" Airbus A320 I took at my local airport, which I flew today instead of the traditional ANZ paint scheme which I flew last weekend.
Crusing at 32000 feet
Banking in the clouds as I change heading
Crossing the island paradice of New Caladonia at FL320
About to touch down after a beautiful descent in Vanautu
After a re-fuel and dinner, it was raining and the sun was setting as I took off leg two.
The moon was low in the sky providing a dim light over the ocean below.
On finals, appoaching Nadi
Taxing to the gate after a succesfull night landing, which was my first in quite a while
Hope you enjoyed them... I think I am starting to pull away from GA back to the VA side of flight sim _________________

excellent pics but can i ask how you go about flying half a route one day and the other the next. do you simply pause the simulation and leave the PC on or is there a feature in FS9 that allows you to save where you are and come back to it??
thanks |

Thanks for the comments guys, and for 'guest' for the question.
You can easly save your flight at any point by pressing the ; key to open the save game box. Then you can resume it any time later by starting fs2004 and going to the Select A Flight screen. Easy. _________________
