Hello,
I am somewhat ignorant as to what exactly a virtual airline is. I have heard of one but I don't know whether you have to pay or how it works or anything. Please help me.

I don't fly with any Virtual Airlines but I imagine that proper takeoffs and landings would be important, wouldn't want any virtual crash victims. |

The level of expertise required varies between VAs. The ones that require online flying with vatsim, etc. generally need more experienced pilots than those who don't.
The best way to determine what an individual VA requires is to view their web site, and ask questions of their contact address. _________________ CrashGordon

there are some VA that require a test but most are easy....what i mean by test is they ask how much you know and if you can carry out a proper flight |

Hey
Here at Alpha Blue, we require no previous experience and most of the members who have joined us have none what so ever. We are happy to help get you off the ground, and have documentation for things like Online Flying, Connecting to an IP, etc.
To see our requirements and what we expect from our pilots, click the link below.

I hope this has helped

Most VA's have dedicated "Training Officers" to get you through all the procedures of online flying and to answer any questions you have. Look through the list of VA's in the "Sticky" List at the head of this forum, go through and check their websites and e-mail them and ask questions. You will have a much better flying experience if you do.
Welcome Aboard Comrade.
