| So, the US version always comes in tin? I'm from Europe, and when I got mine it came in the standard DVD style case. |

Sorry, not meaning to be flippant at all. Regards price, well I can't see any real differences in the functionalty of the software but what I can tell you having worked for a software vendor not so long ago, is that you can expect to pay approx 25% more for the same software in Europe than in the US.
On a trip to new york a few years ago, I picked up a copy of FS2000 significantly cheaper than had I purchased it in the UK. Although it did have a message on the packaging which said only for sale in the US & Canada and I have to say the packaging was much more attractive than the UK packaging.
I.E for some reason a product costing $49 in the US, costs £49 in the UK (approx $80)
The moral of the story... if you smoke, drink and buy software.... then don't live in the UK

Thanks Dave-I have most of the vices- But not all -at my age !
I think MSFS is really worth some sacrifice in these rip-off times.
Good value for dosh is what life is all about I suppose and MSFS is no exception |
