Hi earthqu8kes Instead of using photobucket for resizing, try using this programme called IrfanView, you can find it here...........
http://www.irfanview.com/ You can resize to any size you want, save them to My Pictures/wherever, and then upload them to Photobucket. If you get stuck then have a read through this.

Hi Earthqu8kes, I think there is some confusion here. What you need to do, is go to resize in Irfan, set the keep aspect ratio, then set the longest side to some suitable number of pixels, as a start try 300, the other side will adjust itself if you have ticked the set aspect ratio.
Then click on OK. save the resulting image under a different name to the original, as a jpg file, set quality to around 70% or a tad less say 65%.
Then upload to photobucket, and from there I think you know how to proceed.
Please let us know how you get on, else we can't help without knowing you are still having problems.

I hate to sound argumentative, but if you resize a picture on photobucket, according to their instructions, the size of the image does change. So your statement about knowing how is probably not accurate. _________________ CrashGordon
