there is a test on the internet that will simply tell you if you're pc is capable of running vista. i havea 3.4cpu and 1.5gb ram - but i am unsure what components my computer is actually made of for the motherbard etc. so, does anyone know where this auto test is?

Are you saying that you don't need the sound card driver. All the others should be supplied by Windows.
