I pre-ordered the deluxe version of FSX today on www.amazon.com and I was wondering what other people were getting.

The deluxe version is about $20 more than the standard version, but it includes many extra types of aircraft and many extra features. I am not completely sure what I am getting for my money, but I figured that it was better to take the deluxe version than to end up with something that I didn't like. I am upgrading from FS2004, as most people probably are, and this one is considerably more expensive than what I paid for FS 2004.

Buying FSX from www.amazon.com saved me 5 bucks, and they also offer free shipping, but it is slow shipping. I bet you can find a better deal somewhere else but I prefer to stick with amazon.

I did "I have already pre-ordered FSX Deluxe" but I already have it.

I can't see why anyone would try to save $20 when they are going to wind up spending thou$sand$ of $ € £ on a new computer or at least upgrades to their old one.

How do you already have FSX?, I didn't think it came out until october 17 in the US? I guess I should have made another category but I didn't realize that it was actually realeased yet.

I agree with you that its stupid not to pay the extra $20, especially when its something that your going to be using on a regular basis.

Go through the FSX Forums, many of us in the US found it on most store shelves.
    All have bought the Deluxe.
You can still find it but most that are left are Regular, no one want's them.

Yes the release date is still the 17th, not my problem. I'm haveing to much fun.

Actually I got FSX thru Wal-Mart. The dumbass put it on shelf early and didn't know it should be release until the 17th and I got it. But when I went up to the counter to pay for it, they said that I could not buy it yet. So I argued and finally they let me buy it. Sweet.

The best reason for getting the deluxe version is not having to spend the next two years reading posts here referring to things you don't have. Laughing
