    Hi,
    I was wondering how you do repaints? What programs I need to do repaints? This is because I want to be a repainter so I can make repaints for my va. Can someone please give me a step by step guide of how to do? This would be awesome!!

    Hi Welshflyer -

    Thankyou for the recomendation in here - that is appreciated.

    Patrick the programs you need are:

    1. Paint editing program, ie:PSP or Photoshop (I would advise PSP)
    2. DXT3
    3. FSRepaint

    If you want to know how to paint I would suggest you take a look at this Tutorial for PSP.

    Is PSP XI ok to use or does one have to have version 7? If so, where can it be found for purchase?

    The Tutorial isnt my tutorial, just one I know of and what I used to get started.

    Painting FSX planes is completely different to painting FS9 planes and this tutorial only deals with FS9.

    You will have to find a tutorial that deals specifaclly with FSX repaints - something I cant help you with sorry.
