Join EastJet Virtual Airways. We are a new airline (started in March 2007) but the staff have loads of experience. The whole fleet of Boeing 737-700's are new and more planes and domiciles are coming soon.

I couldn't find a good explanation on VA's so i'll try to explain myself. VA's are just like real life airlines. They have pilots, planes, management, flights...etc but its virtual. |

Well, there is this program called VAFS (Virtual Airline Financial Systems). More and more VA's are starting to use it. What that does it report your flights to your VA. It uses FSUIPC to communicate with FSX. I'll explain an example flight with VAFS below:
1) Signup to Virtual Airline
2) Get accepted to fly
3) You receive login details for VAFS from your VA
4) Download VAFS and FSUIPC and install
5) Login to VAFS
6) Choose a flight out of the schedule which is displayed in VAFS
7) Open FSX and load up a free flight at the departure location
Put on parking brake and click 'Start' on VAFS, then release the brake
9) Fly to your destination in FSX and then put the parking brake back on
10) Your flight will be recorded and you will receive virtual pay |
