after a new build, I can finally run FSX without lags! 
System:
Pentium D 3.4ghz
2gb RAM
evga geforce 7600gt
250gb hdd
evga nvidia 680i sli mobo |

The E6300 is only $174 right now at newegg.com . I dont know what you paid for the Pentium D, but the E6300 is probably going to drop again with the introduction of some new cores from Intel... they may even stop making it all together. I know Im about to outgrow my E6300 and want to get an E6700.
