airplane texture help!!

hello, i just made me a nice mig, but i have a problem, gmax does not properly place textures anymore, it just makes the airplane gray. i was wondering if anyone had a tutorial that showed me how to edit the config or what ever i need to do. all i want is just one tiled picture of camo, thats it.

It sounds more like your video card can't render the textures (too graphic intensive), it's too old.
Try turning down some of the higher settings that might help, without knowing your system specs that would be my first guess.

yeaa, it shouldn't be a problem at all ill list the specs,

AMD 4000+
1024 mb ram
DX 9
Nvidia GeForce 7800 GT SLI

Your good with the CPU and Ram but the card is 2 years old and is 256mb, not enough "power" as I said to render a graphic intensive aircraft and high settings.
Be sure that the fan is clear of dust, it could also be overheating.
