A local store has the Medion Akoya E5300D computer new for $500. It uses an AMD Phenom X3 8450, has 3G memory and a 640GD drive and runs Vista Home Premium. It also has an ATI Radeon HD3450 (hybrid, whatever that means) graphics card.
My main question: Does anyone know if this is easily upgradable by plugging in a high level nVidia card (VGA or PCI?) or if there are problems in trying to do that, perhaps because of that "hybrid" stuff?
Would it thus provide decent Flightsim X performance for a few years? How about FS9 performance?
Respectfully,
