I have been trying to find a Cessna 402C aircraft for FS2004. I do already have the Ultimate GA Cessna 402 AI Package installed. I just need a 402c that I can fly. I have searched for freeware, payware and have come up with nothing. I see plenty of hits for Henry Tomkiewicz's original c402 AI model, but I need a plane that I can fly. Unless you know a way that you can take an AI plane and make it into a flyable one by adding a panel and removing all instances of the AI in the air file and aircraft.cfg file.

You'll need a panel, try this one: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=&Name=&FileName=c402_panel.zip&Author=&CatID=root
You might want to add a soundset of your choice as well.
To edit your aircraft.cfg you can study these two guides:
http://www.flightsimulatorguide.com/aitraffic.htm
http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk/notes_on_fs_aircraft_files.htm
Though the second one deals with the .cfg of already flyable aircraft, if you pay close attention you'll find exactly the parts you'll have to edit. Concentrate on the yellow section at the bottom of the page. _________________
