Hi guys! I recently refreshed my PC by doing a format and reinstalling my entire system as it was before. I am going through the process of installing addon software for FS9.1 right now, and came across the (subject line) textures. I believe I previously had Nova and Nova Gold installed, which I just reinstalled.
My question is, do I need to also install airport 2.10, ASD and VOD for additional functionality? And if so, are there updated freeware version of these textures?
Thanks!

I know nothing about Nova ,
Where did you reinstall it form a download or a disk.
If it was from a disk every thing should go in automatically like reinstalling the flight I'm.
Usually if you install a down load if there is any textures involved
you will see a texture folder that must go into the games texture folder.
This is only my observation. _________________

Hi CDR,
I do not have a problem installing third party FS9 software.
I was wondering if these add-on scenery textures were actually needed. I did install Nova and Nova Gold because one of my addon scenery packages reqiured it. I was curious about the others. |

Aloha Michlin, The textures that you are talking about are used by many different Scenery Designers, and Aircraft Designers, not to mention those that make Macros. It never hurts to have the texture files in your sim. The reason some people load all the textures is to avoid scenery problems when they install. ( some get black or white rectangles where there should be a Macro when some of the textures are missing) Hope this helps, if you need anymore answers, and yes there is an update at simvation.com for the airport2.60.
