| I have tried unsuccessfully to open the texture files, getting an error that says "rendering failed", or similar (depending on the program). What do I need to open these files with, and what tools do I need to "construct" an aircraft? |

Aloha Hitch, There are a few programs that you could use,GMAX is free
in 2002,or you could use FSDSv2.24 by Abacus to build aircraft,as to painting or retexturing, also by Abacus are two differant types of programs for what you want to do,but if your interested in scenery there are a few free programs that are really good, these you can find at simvation under scenery design. Hope this helps a little, Ric |
