Today, the new low-cost carrier, Fly! Airlines has started operations out of Montreal Trudeau Airport with four new Airbus A319-132 to four destinations across Canada. We are competing against West Jet Airlines an other low-cost carrier in Canada.
Our operations will be expanding quite quickly with six aircraft orders from Airbus SAS. They are to be delivered within six weeks of the start of operations. The new planes will be used to increase service in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary and with the three remaining Fly! Airlines will introduce service between Montreal-Winnipeg, Toronto-Vancouver and Vancouver-Calgary. The low-cost carrier is already planing to order more Airbus A319-132's and may consider bringing the Airbus A320 in the fleet if interest is seen.
Our new lounge at Trudeau Airport is now complete and it includes two restaurants, two duty-free shops and free wireless internet access. The airline is also talking to airport officials at Vancouver’s International Airport to build a lounge there. The lounge would include the same features as the lounge in Montreal. The CEO Michel Montreuil also commented at the end: “The future for Fly! Airlines is looking very bright”
Pilot Recruitment
Fly! Airlines is looking for dedicated Airbus A319-132 pilots. New applicants must file a their first flight plan within 14 days of application acceptance and must fly a minimum of 1 flight per calender month to remain active with Fly! Airlines. The applicants must own a legal copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 or X and must be 13 years of age or older to be a member of Fly! Airlines (No exceptions will be made).
About Us
Fly! Airlines was founded in late 2009 by Michel Montreuil, Rahul Parkar and Bobby Mattox to bring a realistic virtual airline to Canada. The low-cost carrier will start operations flying to four destinations with four aircraft. Fly! Airlines is planing on expanding their fleet and flight to more destinations in Canada and eventually start operations in the United States. The goal of the airline is to be the most realistic virtual airline in Canada. Fly! Airlines also owns a maintenance hangar at New York's JFK airport, the airline will be flying planes to JFK on a monthly basis.
