Area 51 Groom Lake

I downloaded this, and flew all around N37*14.5' W115*48.5' the coordinates listed in the readme, but could not find a thing. It's either very stealthy, or I am doing something wrong

Oh yes, you have to restart to load new scenery.
Anyway, i was a little disapointed in that there were no buildings or anythig, so I reloaded an old one I had area51-3b.zip which has everything.

Bummer, the screenshots looked very good. I didn't load it yet, I guess I won't.

Why dose FS not include area 51? Are they not alloud to, or did they just choose not to?

Its not in fs9 because there is no area51,it do'es not exist officially

When I say airport add on not exist, I mean is that airport really not there in real life.

Oh its there alright,just dont expect to find any charts for it

Despite having been photographed and having daily flights in and out,it do'es not exist

I did see a tv prog the other day that said the Groom Lake base was now deserted 😳 Soooo where are they now??

oh and the reason why they deserted it is because so many people knew about it and they wanted to keep its location a secret so they moved it.

it's still there. every morning there are busses in pahrump, nv., that pick up workers and drive them there. there are also several daily flights from mccarran (klas) that fly workers to the site.

I am not impressed with this scenery add of area 51. It doesn't handle ai traffic giving me runtime errors and there are trees and tops of trees poking through the taxiways giving aircraft crashes and the runways are suspended in mid air.

Not one of the best scenery adds I've installed.

I could tell you where it is but then I'd have to kill you.

If you guys have Google Earth (coolest free sowftware ever, if you don't have it look it up and download it) punch in the coordinates 37 14 00, -115 49 00 just for fun. The program sreams satellite imagry of the whole planet, including Groom lake and Area 51 in all its glory.
